Production cutting bi-metal band saw blades with fatigue-resistant alloy steel backing for higher wear resistance deliver easy penetration, excellent chip clearance, and faster, straighter cuts
The Nipont has introduced a new line of production cutting bi-metal band saw blades that provide increased sawing performance for cost effective cutting in a wide range of applications and has adpoted the unique technique Ultra-low Temperature Treatment to the blades. Blades feature bi-metal construction with fatigue-resistant alloy steel backing for higher wear and heat resistance. With a new tooth design that includes triple-tempered M42 high-speed steel teeth with 8% cobalt (RC 67-69) at up to a 7 deg rake angle, easy penetration, excellent chip clearance, improved surface finishes and faster, straighter cuts. Nipont band saw blade is ideal for high production cutting in a full range of steels - from mild to stainless, up to 42 HRC - as well as for nickel-based and non-ferrous alloys. Blades come in seven different widths and thickness, from 3/4in x 0.035in to 2.1/2in x 0.063in. The company claims that after repeated tests, Nipont blade cut faster and blade life was proven to be significantly longer than the competition. By adopting the Ultra-low Temperature Treatment to the teeth, the blade service life was longer 30% than which non-treatment and blades saw at reduced noise levels when compared to competitive products. Blades are manufactured in China with the special technique, are well received in Canada, Australia, Belgium, SA, India, Thailand¡ ¡
